Apart from the more known underground music scene in Sabah, we rarely heard anything from Sarawak. I only knew few bands like Kurasakuasa (Mass Separation played a gig with them years ago), Restart and of course the defunct Buddy Holly zine, Fist of Fury (RIP, now The Times?) and who can forget Sputum (grindcore used to be cooler than indie).
