"Our Malaysian shows all had pretty varied line-ups and definitely featured some of the best bands of the tour. Getting to play with Carburetor Dung in Penang was a great honour, as they have been playing since the early 90's, and are seen by many as the forefathers of punk in Malaysia. That particular show was full of skinheads - something I certainly didnt expect to see here in Asia, but I was told that while there had been problems with racist-skins in the past (so called brown-power skins), this particular group was the anti-fascist variety (a good thing for us in view of our Vietnamese-born vocalist). My favorite band in Malaysia (and perhaps of the whole tour) was Kah-Roe-Shi, who pounded out some heavy-as-fukk hardcore sludge in the vein of His Hero Is Gone. Other awesome bands included: Infinite Delay (Discordance Axis-style grind), Daghila (fast, heavy, screamo) and Blood On Wedding Dress (power violence/thrash)."

We would recommend you buying MRR's issue December 2008 to read the whole report of their tour.
